STaSIS Engineering Stainless Steel Exhaust Audi R8 V10 09The STaSIS R8 V10 52L Exhaust System replaces the OEM muffler assembly located behind factory Vband connection The system was designed to specifically fit the R8 with the 52L V10 and fits both the manual and RTronic equipped cars All pipes on the STaSIS exhaust system are made of T304 Stainless Steel and precisely shaped with a CNC mandrel bender to insure an easy and direct boltin replacementAll mounting and support plates are precisely manufactured on a CNC laser cutting tableAll welds are back gassed using the TIG method for cleanliness precision and strengthThe exhaust is mounted with the existing OEM exhaust hangersThe single muffler setup used on the OEM system is replaced with a dual muffler design incorporating a ldquoXrdquo style crossover This allows a small portion of the exhaust pulses from opposing cylinder banks to cross over creating a vacuum for the next pulse coming through the exhaust This effect helps create power by reducing the back pressure pulses behind the engine to negative levelsThe STaSIS muffler design gives an exhaust note that is noticeably deeper and stronger at all throttle applications while maintaining a tone that is not intrusive or ldquodroningrdquo at normal everyday driving speedsThe tail pipes extend into the factory exhaust tips mounted in the rear bumper cover and require no bumper or tip modificationsThe STaSIS exhaust is 30 pounds lighter than the stock unit The result of STaSIS39 engineering is a museumquality piece that will awaken your R8nbsp.
